A series of four travel articles describing some time spent in the West African nation of Burkina Faso. Each article in the series looks at a different cultural aspect as observed in the complicated but charming capital city Ouagadougou. The visit giving rise to these posts took place in early 2016, just before the beginning of the chaotic militant insurgency issues which have plagued the country more recently.
