Astral Injection, Mysterious Traveller, GPS of wishing…
now the moon so coyly darkens
let all nature be dissipated
while spirit laws claim hold
and nightfall seals my senses
cannot my wanting’s mere ferocity
summon what shapes her form beside me
cannot a stray gust of her lucid exhale
be carried secret to my sleeping breath
let me read deep, long and aloud
from the golden book of her unhurried glands
let me capsize within her abyss
far far removed from any shoreline
or dawn

… what light
through yonder
poem breaks?
The Bard himself
would be impressed.
… Make no mistake.

owe you a virtual Foster’s, or maybe Watney’s, David. Commentary as art form. Merci bien.

thanks EC, not sure where the nautical imagery arose from, I think because sleep is like a sea.
