even though
you don’t completely exist
your glance is bottomless
your kiss is deep blue fire
newly aflame
my soul is pulled out
first along the contours
of your ardent mouth
but then aloft in the world
free of bodies
we hang-glide on gusts of spirit
clocks disintegrate everywhere
suns wish
moons want
and we learn to tread the waters
who whet the heartfelt thirst
a different eyelid opens
we see what drives
this co-muse impulse
we hold hands without limbs
you and I we succumb to divinity
stare down temptations with sweetness
and reproduce with no organs
on a vast canvas between galaxies
let’s not tell them yet

Gorgeous poetry!
Thanks so much! Kind of you. 🙂
I always enjoy your unique spark that I see in your poetry..every one so different from the other..and yet….they are yours.
A very nice thing to hear, Karima. Thanks. That I have a signature spark. And I am very glad you enjoy it.
