More than one kind of tempter dwells in this space; you must trust your intuition as something more than what is obvious in order to gradually learn to distinguish them in your being…
It’s true, sadly. Or maybe not sad — maybe a necessary wisdom-infused aspect of the cosmic architecture we are too tiny to see. That an opposing force exists so subtly that it convinces us it is actually ourselves, when we self-torture so exquisitely, and relentlessly at intervals. When we build faith in our unconquerable limitation. When we buy into darkness as inevitable, and as paltry countermeasure, devise mere caution strategies to persist a while longer. But another force also radiates everywhere. It presents as an inexhaustible cosmic hug, deep and warm, purifying and lasting as can ever be wished for. It remains external to our souls, because it respects our freedom. But it will never fail to heal us when invited, when we bombastically behave like a sun despite our sunspots, and even in the glaring face of them.
I do not look for your spots, though I honor your individuality; I look for your your sunlight. I see it with closed eyes. When I am blinded by your spots, it is not me who is looking.

Thank you. I must remember to close my eyes and see the warmth in the heat of the fire.
Well said! We do indeed engage in self-judgment and torture. Better to look at how we shine
thanks — and happy equinox!
