does she almost pierce the blue of sky
when looking intensely a very long time
and succeeding to vanish all thoughts
perfectly cloudless,
will the color of Mary’s robes dissolve
till she perceives instead only pure devotion
I love best her exacting skepticism
all the while peering, driven by trueness
her openness to love become a watchful sagely organ

What a nice comment, Lia — thanks so much 🙂 I am glad you relate to it in this way. Bon weekend!
Fun parsing the last stanza

Very Beautiful! I enjoyed the extricate sentiments this poem brings forth!
